So how about that book you’ve always wanted to write? When you’re busy, book writing can so easily drop down your list of priorities and not get done.

These sessions of tuition and supported writing will speed up your progress from whatever stage you are at - and help you to get your book written. If you are getting ready to pitch your book and need advice, you can do that within these sessions too.

Presented by  Jacqueline Burns who was commissioning editor at Random House and editorial director at Harper Collins prior to setting up as a literary agent and publishing consultant. In non-fiction her focus is on personal development, business, how-to books, parenting, and health & well being. In fiction her bag is commercial fiction and memoir. She runs the London Writers’ Club with agent Kirsty McLachlan and has co-authored two e-books on writing. She also wrote a series of humorous books for young women, The Handbag Book of Girly Emergencies, which are published under a pseudonym.

We start with Coffee and informal feedback and then get our heads down to write.
During the session you will have one-to-one time with Jacqueline to discuss specific problems and questions.

Please note that unlike other publishing events, this is a small exclusive group, where we work on your book idea and take it to the next level. We set homework and goals to keep you on track with your book. You will receive feedback that will ensure you really can move forward to publishing your book.
